Unsure about investing thousands into a flat fee partnership with a creator? Luckily, the days of choosing between risky flat fees and endless product gifting are over.
By combining flat fees with performance-based commission, you get the best of both worlds. You lock in content deliverables, while creators are incentivized to continue sharing for additional earnings.
With the recent Forbes list showing the top 50 creators earning a combined $850M, influencers are busier than ever. They're locking in podcasts, long-term sponsorships, commercial spots, red carpet appearances, and investment deals. This means brands need to get creative and flexible with budgets to secure top talent.
Top tip: Top revenue driving content is still Instagram stories, so be sure to include stories with their link and/or code as a part of the deliverables!
US TikTok Shop sales are up 120%
The numbers don't lie: Despite ongoing uncertainty, TikTok Shop sales are soaring. According to new research from GlobalData and TikTok Shop, 83% of shoppers have discovered new products through the platform, and 70% have found new brands.
TikTok Shop's #dealsforyou event (July 7th-19th) is directly competing with Amazon Prime Days this year (July 8th-11th). Smart brands will use this timing to capture audience attention when shopping intent is already high.
👎 Phasing out:
Brands relying on their own channels for brand stories
The most under-rated influencer strategy? Brand storytelling. Consumers want to hear stories from people they trust, not corporate marketing departments.
The winning move: Partner with creators who naturally align with parts of your brand story or values, then let them tell it from their unique perspective. It's authentic storytelling that actually resonates, instead of branded content that gets scrolled past.
